Based on XDS near-infrared Technology, the FOSS XDS Process Analytics™ Microbundle Multiplexer provides the next generation of process analysis for real-time process analysis in the pharmaceutical and chemical industries. Non-destructive, accurate measurements are performed directly in the process line, blender, dryer, or reactor.
API content, solvent and moisture levels, as well as active and moisture content in detergents and soaps, are typical pharmaceutical measurements. Follow the progress of a chemical reaction and determine endpoints with the XDS Microbundle Multiplexer.
The 80 fiber count (40 illumination/40 collection) allows for cost-effective analysis of a wide variety of sample types ranging from clear liquids to suspensions and solids. Two analyzer configurations provide for measurement of up to either four or nine sampling points. This economical means of performing remote measurements enables the analyzer to be installed in an unrestricted area, reducing installation and operation costs.
