Waukesha Bearings acquires Federal-Mogul RPB
Waukesha Bearings Corporation today announced that it has acquired Federal-Mogul RPB (FM RPB) formerly known as Glacier Rotating Plant Bearings, a UK-based specialist engineering company providing hydrodynamic and magnetic bearing products and services tailored to customers' needs in the power generation, oil/gas, chemical and industrial markets. Waukesha Bearings Corporation is a subsidiary of Dover Diversified Corporation and Dover Corporation.
Federal-Mogul RPB is an engineering and manufacturing company with a longstanding reputation for technological innovation and engineering excellence - and is generally regarded as the market's "technology leader." Headquartered in Northwood Hills, outside of London with traditional fluid film bearings manufactured in factories in Glasgow, Scotland and Manchester, England, FM RPB has been in the bearings business for over 100 years.
