Victaulic Adds Ball Valve To Its Aquamine PVC Pipe-Joining System
Easton, PA (PRWEB) Victaulic, the world's leading manufacturer of mechanical pipe joining systems, has expanded its Aquamine® line of PVC pipe-joining products with the addition of the Series 2921 ball valve. The Victaulic Aquamine system offers a quick, simple and economical method for joining PVC pipe for water services such as water supply, leaching lines and dewatering lines.
The Series 2921 Aquamine ball valve provides reliable leak-free dead-end service, as well as a fast, easy connection. Like other Aquamine components, the valve is joined by inserting a spline into the groove pre-cut in each product. Special tools and equipment are not required for installation. The valve is also available with a grooved or threaded (FPT) end to simplify equipment connections and incorporation into larger systems. The ease of assembly and disassembly enables Aquamine products to be reconfigured and reused as needed.
Designed for use with Aquamine system components, the Series 2921 ball valve is available in 2- to 6-inch sizes (50 to 150 millimeters), and is capable of withstanding pressures of up to 100 psi (700 kPa) at 73 degrees Fahrenheit (23 degrees Celsius). The valve is available with either a square nut or lever handle for easy operation.
The Victaulic Aquamine line consists of pipe, couplings, fittings and valves available in a variety of end connections, including grooved, flanged, threaded, solvent cement and plain, in addition to the Aqual link (Aquamine groove). Aquamine products range in size from 2 to 12 inches (50 to 300 millimeters) and withstand pressures of up to 350 psi (2,400 kPa).
