The required torque for the pump is transferred through a containment shell by magnetic forces. The permanent coupling, consisting of an outer magnet drive rotating in the atmosphere and an inner magnet drive rotating in the fluid, provides slipless rotation of the pump and motor to assure smooth, reliable power transmission.

Along with a magnetic-drive system, the pump offers all of the basic screw pump benefits, including quiet, pulsation-free operation; and simplified design for a long, trouble-free service life.

The screw pump safely handles a variety of high-viscous fluids, including toxic feed stocks used in plastics making, fluids containing poisonous phenol compounds, fluids which give off harmful carcinogenic vapors, and other hazardous fluids pumped by the chemical and petrochemical industries.
