Veeco Delivers Multiple Turbodisc K-Series Mocvd Tools To Genesis Photonics In Taiwan
Woodbury, NY - Veeco Instruments Inc. announced recently that Genesis Photonics Inc. (GPI) headquartered in Taiwan, has received multiple TurboDisc K-Series gallium nitride (GaN) Metal Organic Chemical Vapor Deposition (MOCVD) Systems. GPI will use the systems to increase capacity for the production of blue HBLEDs for lighting, display, backlighting, and automotive applications.

Veeco's TurboDisc K-Series MOCVD gallium nitride (GaN) platform, which includes the K300 and K465 models, delivers the industry's highest throughput available today for high volume production of GaN-based blue and green LEDs and blue lasers.
