Vacuum Technology/Pollution Control

CHEM SHOW '99: The company offers single and multiple stage steam jet ejectors which offer reliable and economical means of producing vacuum. The single-stage ejectors create vacuum ranging from atmosphere to 3 in. Hg absolute. Multiple-stage units create higher vacuum ranging from 3 in. Hg absolute to 10 microns.

Other company vacuum systems, Rotajectors, Chill-Vactors, and Thermocompressors, are reliable systems that are custom designed and virtually maintenance free. Rotajectors are combination systems using Evactors, condenser and liquid ring vacuum pumps which operate at the lowest possible cost in chemical, pharmaceutical and petrochemical applications.

Chill-Vactors are vacuum flash cooling systems used when large flow rates of cool water are continuously required. Applications include paper, pharmaceutical and other industrial operations. In certain plants, automatic controllers may be added to enhance its efficiency by reducing energy during off-peak periods.

The company's air pollution products have the ability to utilize wet and dry electrostatic precipitators and wet scrubber technology. Each provides custom designed solutions to difficult air pollution control problems.

High energy Venturi scrubbers remove fine particulate, Packed Towers remove toxic gases, and Jet Venturi Fume Scrubbers effectively scrub combined particulate and gaseous contaminants even at very heavy loads. The three basic scrubber designs have also been used as gas/liquid contactors to provide mass and/or heat transfer in process operations.
