Expanding the widest flowmeter line available, Bailey-Fischer & Porter introduces the TRIO-MASS Coriolis Mass Flowmeter Model MCI. The Model MC1 measures mass flowrate, density and temperature of process liquids independent of the fluid conductivity, temperature, density, pressure and flow profile. The unit does so economically and accurately due to its classical space-saving parallel path dual-tube design.
Its balanced design with a rigid supporting profile provides rugged construction with vibration immunity and convenient self-draining. Thick-walled seamless tubing ensures meter integrity over a wide range of operating pressures while the meter's optimally placed inductive sensors generate large signal amplitudes for efficient and stable operation.
The companion microprocessor-based Model 50MM2000 Flow Computer features a user-friendly, menu-driven system that makes setup, configuration and operation easy. Options include high accuracy density measurement and fast filling and batching application software. The unit can also be equipped with HARTTM Protocol or RS232/485 Serial DataLink communications capability.
The new flowmeter, which measures flowrates up to 7050 lb/min, is suitable for CIP (Clean In Place) operations, and features a maximum fluid process temperature of 356'F (180'C). The Model MCI is available in sizes: 1-1/2" (G), 2" (H), 2-1/2" (1), 3" (J), and 4" (K).
