HISTORICAL BACKGROUND:

Founded in 1984, The WERCS, Ltd. initiated development of a regulatory compliance system for GE Silicones. In 1988, this system was rolled out in 12 languages to GE's business components around the world.

In 1993, The WERCS, Ltd. developed the client-server (Windows) PC-based solution. Since that time, many international, US and European companies have adopted the fourth 32-Bit & eleventh Windows client-server solution.

THE WERCS® soon became known as the functional leader in the MSDS software arena providing Industrial Strength Worldwide Environmental & Regulatory Compliance Solutions to the chemical manufacturing and related industries. Contributing to this was the revolutionary Expert RuleWriter and European Rule Wizard, Multi-lingual GUI (English, French, German, and Japanese) capability and its unlimited customizable formatting abilities.

In 1996 a major U.S. based, world-wide chemical company hired the prestigious Gartner Group to survey and recommend the best regulatory compliance software in the industry. Their answer was unequivocally --- THE WERCS® .

In 2000, environmental and regulatory compliance still comprises 100% of THE WERCS® focus. THE WERCS® has strategically interfaced with SAP, Marcam, BPCS and others to provide a seamless ERP transaction. THE WERCS® also provides links to Ariel, LOLI, and HAZUD (European) Regulatory Databases for direct import of any regulatory data with our Application Programming Interface (API). THE WERCS API makes for seamless data transfer into and out of the system.

The Revolutionary Version 5.0 was released 1st Q00 and introduces the following new additions:

  • Multi-lingual Front Ends (English, French, German, Japanese, & Spanish) for use in a multi-lingual/facility global environment.
