Techgene & TechgenePC Thermal Cyclers

The Techgene is a small, low cost thermal cycler from Techne. It is available as 2 models, the Techgene or TechgenePC (operation via PC only) in 25 x 0.2 ml or 20 x 0.5 ml microtube interchangeable block formats.

The Techgene uses modern, intuitive programming and ready-to-go templates, making creating even the most complicated protocols simple.

As new functionality is added to the software, updates can be downloaded for free from the Techne website.

This compact unit is light and has a variable voltage selector which means it can be used anywhere in the world.

Key features include:

• Block uniformity at ±0.1ºC at 50 ºC, ensuring optimal reproducibility
  
• Up to 3.6ºC/Sec heating rate and 2.0ºC/Sec cooling rate
  
• A small footprint at 561 cm², making the Techgene economical on space
