Syncro Vac announced from SEMICON Southwest their new surface mount gas delivery system that features built-in secondary containment, modular design, and multiple gas streams. "The Cube" is made of 316L stainless steel and is the first surface mount gas delivery system that has built-in secondary containment for use with hazardous and toxic materials like in chemical vapor deposition processes.

"The Cube's" modular design not only aids in the installation process of gas systems, but more importantly offers quick and easy access to specific problem areas. With rapid disassembly, a contaminated area can be taken apart and completely cleaned, re-electropolished and refitted without taking the whole assembly apart. It uses conventional "C" seals for primary containment while the secondary containment uses standard "0" rings for its fittings. This easily adaptable modular design answers hazardous materials safety and environmental concerns and also assists in keeping costs down with reusable parts.
The system also has a simple snap-in block system that uses heating cartridges to ensure a precise temperature throughout the gas stream. Machined holes for the heaters are strategically placed to keep temperature constant. The cartridge-style heaters are easily changed in and out.
