Union Process, Inc.s of batch-type production attritors (or stirred ball mills) range in size from a 16-gallon gross tank capacity to a 600-gallon gross tank capacity and are equipped with a 5 HP to a 1500 HP two-speed motor. The attritors can also be configured with arms (SL series) or with a torque meter (ST series). The units feature a built-in pumping system for accelerated attrition and uniformity as well as for material discharging. No premixing is required, and material can be directly fed into the jacketed attritor's grinding tank.
