Nozzles used for chemical injection must deliver a very precise drop size to ensure the desired chemical reaction occurs without wetting. Spraying Systems Co. offers a wide range of nozzles used for chemical injection applications such as NOx control, desuperheating, corrosion inhibition and freeze protection. Nozzle selection will depend on the performance requirements of the application. Nozzles typically used for chemical injection include:

  • High efficiency FloMax® air atomizing nozzles deliver exceptionally small drops for 100% evaporation and are primarily used for gas cooling and conditioning.
  • Hydraulic or air atomizing nozzles, available in a wide range of capacities, are often used to desuperheat steam.
  • FogJet® hydraulic fine spray nozzles are a popular choice for glycol and anti-corrosion agent injection.
