GreCon, Inc.park Detection and Extinguishment System's sensors contain photo elements which detects a spark's infrared radiation. The smallest spark triggers the sensing element and the system immediately releases a fine mist of water downstream, extinguishing the spark without interrupting production. For high temperature applications, up to 1830°F, fiber optic cables and sensors are utilized. The system's protection reduces the risk of injury to personnel, damage to equipment, and downtime caused by a fire or explosion.
