The Ohmart/VEGA SHF series of source holders is designed to meet the harshest of conditions. Constructed of ductile iron and tungsten, this source holder is able to withstand extended exposure at 1472ºF (800ºC). The source holder's rugged design allows for shutter operation after a fall of up to 30' to an unyielding surface. Available with air actuated shutter for remote operation and shutter check, this series of source holder is available to house up to a 1000 mci source. NRC/ Agreement state licensed, these source holders are unique to Ohmart/VEGA. Available with an interlock for lockout protection, the SHF series is compatible with any of Ohmart/VEGA's full line of nuclear level and density gauges.
