SciQuest Partners With Actio Bringing A Multi-Supplier, Source To Disposal Chemical Management Solution To The Market
Actio will add enhanced regulatory reporting and increased chemical database capabilities to SciQuest's Chemical Manager, dramatically decreasing chemical Inventory management costs to organizations
Research Triangle Park, NC, and Hampton, NH - SciQuest, Inc., a leading provider of on-demand supplier and materials management solutions, today announced that the company has partnered with Actio, a provider of chemical lifecycle management applications. As part of the agreement, SciQuest will offer Actio's Chemical Profile Database (CPD) as an enhancement to SciQuest's Chemical Manager product. Actio will resell SciQuest's Chemical Manager solution to supplement its suite of CLM products providing a full cradle-to-grave solution to their clients.

Actio's CPD is a collection of chemical data from multiple, highly referenceable sources giving users the ability to properly and accurately interpret the multiple properties of a substance and identify those materials with regulatory descriptions such as hazardous, carcinogenic or a hazardous air pollutant (HAP).
