Draeger Safety, Inc.or fire fighters and other SCBA wearers, the AirBoss Sentinel is an all-in-one warning system that provides the pressure gauge, dual independent low pressure alarms, temperature, and PASS device in a single unit. The large display shows the psi levels as both analog and digital readings. Time to low pressure alarm is calculated based on actual breathing rate so it reflects the user's activity level. The unit has a non-aspirating whistle and flashing strobe as dual independent, low-pressure alarms. Also incorporated into the unit is a thermister so that ambient temperature is displayed. A PASS (personal alarm safety system) device is a part of this system.
This system can be programmed to alarm at two different temperature levels. It collects data such as date, time, temperature, cylinder pressure, alarm activation, and alarm resets. This information can be downloaded to a computer, allowing the product to be used for training as well as incident analysis.
