The global manufacturer in the effect pigment market, ECKART (headquartered in Germany), has entered into a joint venture agreement with Runaya (headquartered in India), a pioneer in sustainable manufacturing with alliances over global technology leaders across the portfolio of products. The joint venture is establishing a new facility in Orissa (India), to produce amongst the most sustainable spherical atomized aluminum granules. These products are witnessing high demand growth not only in India but also in global markets. The granules cater to high-end applications in aerospace, solar panels and high value effect pigments.
At the core of the strategic alliance lies the commitment to fostering sustainability. For example, the joint venture will use recycled aluminum and renewable energy sources for its production. With this, the joint venture will serve the Indian growth market and leverage India's position as a global hub for cutting-edge manufacturing solutions.
Runaya and ECKART have also signed a Memorandum of Understanding to manufacture high-quality aluminum pigments.
