RP&C Class 1500 Globe Valves
Available in sizes ½ in. to 2 in., the globe valves are equipped with a stellite seat ring which is brazed into the valve bodies. The valves are designed for power generation, refining, chemical and processing applications.
The stub-acme threads on the valve's stem provides strength. The stem is ground to an extra-smooth finish to enhance packing efficiency and life. The stem shoulder provides a tight seal with the bonnet should backseating be necessary.
To improve flow regulation, the globe valves' investment cast Stellite disc is locked on to the stem. The body to bonnet fit-up includes a spiral-wound stainless steel gasket with carbon graphite filler that easily adjusts to changing pressures and temperatures, while providing a positive seal.
