PSV series Proportionating Solenoid Valves are designed to respond to variable power inputs to regulate flow of liquids and gases proportionately
PSV series Proportionating Solenoid Valves are designed to respond to variable power inputs to regulate flow of liquids and gases proportionately. For added safety PSV valves are normally closed (NC) when deenergized. They can also serve as "on-off" valves. For control functions see the PSV-D Driver Module.

Materials in fluid contact: Materials of PSV Proportionating Solenoid Valves in fluid contact are 316 and 416 stainless steel and Viton® ™ O-rings.

Circuit protection: PSV-D pulse width modulated driver module circuit boards have built-in polarity reversal protection on the power input. Resettable fuse provides power input protection.

Complete Flow Controller Systems include a PSV Solenoid Valve connected to a pulse width modulated PSV-D Driver Module. The frequency of modulation used by the PSV-D module is chosen such that the actual gas or liquid flow through the valve is uneffected, and thus is continous without any pulsing attribute.
