Process Refractometer PR-03-M

K-Patents new Process Refractometer PR-03-M provides truly accurate means for measuring liquid concentrations in chemically aggressive solutions that corrode, foul or otherwise destroy metal parts. The other industrial usage group for the PR-03-M are the ultra-pure fine chemical processes, where metal parts cannot be use.

The K-Patents PR-03-M non-metal wetted parts Teflon, Kynar, Sapphire (Al2O3), Kalrez, and Spinel (MgAl2O4) are carefully selected because they have high chemical and mechanical resistance. The ambient materials AISI 316 L (sensor cover) and polyamid 6.6 (electrical connector) withstand chemically aggressive gases and splashes of the process liquid.

The K-Patents PR-03-M offers many advantages when aiming at exact process control. Low and high concentration alarms can be configured to allow smooth real-time operation of the process.

The measurement accuracy is not influenced by particles, bubbles, colour or temperature changes of the process liquid. Furthermore, the measuring system does not require recalibration or frequent maintenance.
