Pressure Isolator

Viatran Corporation Corporation's 23 Series Isolator is a tubular remote seal capable of non-intrusive pressure measurement in pipes. The Isolator can be used with a pressure transmitter, digital indicator, or dial gage. Typical applications include pharmaceutical manufacturing, food processing, SIP/CIP processing, pulp and paper, paint spraying, biotechnology systems, and adhesive application systems.

The Isolator eliminates dead ends, recesses, and protrusions. The stainless steel liner and fill fluid separate the process media from the sensing element and provide a flush surface. By separating the transmitter from the media, the Isolator can measure high temperature process fluids up to 600°F. Viatran's Isolator is especially suited to pharmaceutical and food processing applications that require sterilization in place (SIP) and clean in place (CIP) capabilities. In other process industries, the stainless steel liner protects the sensing element from corrosive or abrasive materials. The Isolator can also solve fluid pressure measurement problems relating to bacterial contamination, media changeover contamination, particle accumulation, and viscous fluid handling. The Isolator's simple design, rugged construction, and size flexibility provide a solution to demanding problems.
