Its connectivity for industrial fieldbuses makes the new system suitable for integration into modern control and data processing systems. Two serial interfaces capable of mastering RS422 and RS485 in addition to RS232 as well as binary inputs and outputs designed for direct operation with 230V ensure its fault-free functioning, even in rugged environments.
When using the system in certified weighing applications, the user benefits from the integral legal-for-trade data memory which saves the use of a redundant printer in many applications. With operator controlled scales, the large-size, easy-to-read LC display and the additional keystroke keyboard ease the operator's work to a considerable event.
All scale data including calibration parameters are stored in the intelligent load cell connector. This enables the measuring system to be exchanged at every time with no need for recalibration or reverification.
All other parameters can be read out and stored using the Disoplan Windows configuration program. Disoplan also permits quick adaption of the system functionality using the PC graphical operator environment.
This unit is suitably prepared to handle many and varied applications. It comes with six predefined weighing sequences that can be downloaded from the system, and the user can choose from a complete range of housings offering the optimal accommodation for every environment. Available are an ergonomically styled desk-top unit, a front-of-panel-mounting variant, a 19 in. rack and a stainless steel housing protected to IP 65.
