PowderPak DE-50 Bag Filler
The patented twin-head diverter makes this filler one of the most accurate and trouble-free bag fillers in the world. The filling operation is based on product being supplied to two filling stations with a bag attached to each station or head. No product feeder is required as a main storage hopper can be coupled directly to the DE-50 inlet flange.
Product flows to an automatic product flow change over that directs the product to the bag to be filled. At a predetermined and selectable setpoint, a proportion of the feed is diverted to the second bag and filling of the second bag commences. When the desired setpoint fill weight is reached on the first bag, flow is completely diverted to the second bag until the setpoint of the second bag is reached. In the meantime, the first bag to be filled is automatically removed and an empty bag installed. The filling process continues uninterrupted at the rate of up to 5 x 50 lb (25kg) bags per minute
