In 1922 PANTHER OIL AND GREASE MANUFACTURING COMPANY opened its doors. The initial product line—premium lubricants. Prosperity, even through the Great Depression, soon allowed for new products, including INDUSTRIAL CLEANING COMPOUNDS

The tremendous growth during the following years resulted in changes in the company. PANTHER OIL AND GREASE MANUFACTURING COMPANY changed its name to TEXAS REFINERY CORP. The Industrial Cleaning Compounds Division became a full-fledged company, with an expanded product line, and proudly assumed the PANTHER name.
