The Hosokawa AcucutTM Ultrafine Air Classifier has been a favorite choice of the toner, ceramics and pharmaceutical industries for many years. The Acucut TM Air Classifier is a forced vortex classifier designed to disperse and then classify into coarse and fine fractions.

In response to customer demand for finer cut points, our design engineers have incorporated several additional features into a newly designed AcucutTM Model A-12 including:

  • Classifier speeds have been increased to as high as 8,000RPM, a 33% increase, to produce finer cut points.
  • Dual cyclones for improved collection efficiency. Ultra fine product yields significantly increase with two high efficiency cyclones mounted in series.
  • A dust collector with pleated filter elements for collecting ultrafine particles which by-pass the cyclone(s). The dust collector is available with removable collection canister or manual valve and collection canister.
