NEVILLE CHEMICAL COMPANY ACQUIRES OWNERSHIP OF NEVCIN POLYMERS, B.V.
PITTSBURGH, March 15 /PRNewswire/ -- Neville Chemical announced today that they have reached an agreement to become the sole owner of Nevcin Polymers B.V. Located in Uithoorn, Netherlands, Nevcin Polymers has been a 50/50 joint venture since 1960 with Neville Chemical Company and Cindu International, through one of its affiliated companies.
Nevcin Polymers provides the European marketplace with petroleum hydrocarbon resins, modified hydrocarbon resins and coumarone-indene resins. "This acquisition solidifies Neville Chemical's position as a world leader in the manufacturing of hydrocarbon resins, providing us the ability to better meet our customers' needs on a global level," stated L. Van V. Dauler, Jr., Neville's Chairman of the Board and President.
Neville Chemical Company has been manufacturing hydrocarbon resins, which enhance the performance characteristics for printing inks, adhesives, coatings and rubber goods, for over 70 years. The main manufacturing facility and Corporate Offices are located on Neville Island, six miles west of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, in addition to a manufacturing facility in Anaheim, California.
