Nahodka Mineral Fertilizer Plant Selects Topsoe As Licensor For World-Scale Methanol Plant

  • Nakhodka Mineral Fertilizer Plant has chosen Haldor Topsoe technology for a 5,400 tons-per-day methanol plant near Vladivostok in the Eastern part of Russia.
  • China Chengda Engineering Co., LTD, has been chosen for engineering, procurement and construction (EPC).
  • Topsoe will provide license, basic engineering, catalysts, and proprietary hardware for the methanol plant which will be based on Topsoe’s two-step reforming technology.

The world scale methanol plant will be located near the major Russian seaport Nakhodka in the Primorsky region with an intent to export its products to the Asia-Pacific Region.
