Modular Centrifuge

Alfa Laval Brewery Systemsval Sharples PM-38000 PolyMizer modular centrifuge is a dual-function decanter that both thickens and dewaters wastewater. It is designed for treatment plants processing between one and ten million gallons per day.

The centrifuge offers a more compact design, an improved bearing housing for easier alignment and interchangeability of rotating assemblies, and features a stainless steel cover. It measures 34 by 126 inches, four inches narrower and 20 inches shorter than the original design, a "footprint" reduction of more than 22 percent.

This version of Alfa Laval Brewery Systemsval Sharples PM-38000 is delivered complete with stand, drive motor, backdrive, and control panel for easy mounting. A number of design options are offered in order to meet a wide range of treatment plant requirements. These include the choice of two- or three-stage planetary gearboxes, an eddy current brake, variable frequency drive or variable frequency drive with dual motors.
