Membrane Emulsion Separator

The ultraaqua emulsion separator treats and disposes of contaminated compressor condensates, producing water's containing less than 5 ppm oil. The first stage, pre-separation, uses a combination of expansion chambers and coalescing and prefiltration elements to remove all free oil; it also protects the unit's second-stage membrane. The second stage,ultrafiltration, uses a semipermeable membrane to remove the oil from the oil-water emulsion. Capacities of the system range from 11/2 to 6 GPH. Each system includes a coalescing filter, depressurization/silencer, flotation system, and a pumped ultrafiltration structure.
