Maypro's Japanese Partner, Amino Up Chemical, Opens New Production Facility

Purchase, NY - Maypro Industries LLC announced recently the opening of a new expanded production facility by its Japanese partner, Amino Up Chemical Co., Ltd. The new facility will double the production capacity of AHCC (Active Hexose Correlated Compound) – Japan's top specialty immune support ingredient.

The construction of the new facilities incorporates a number of environmental enhancements as well as the use of locally sourced materials to improve overall sustainability. Consequently, the new building that houses the plant is one of only three in Sapporo to have gained the highest "SSS" rating on the Comprehensive Assessment System for Environmental Building Efficiency.
