N/A99: The Quantim utilizes the Coriolis principle, a long-proven direct mass measurement technology that has been widely utilized in large flow processes for many years. The unit offers several advantages including:
- In-process precision- Quantim delivers fluid accuracy of better than 0.5 percent, regardless of the fluid being measured. It measures the direct or actual mass, rather than inferred, so no calibrations are necessary.
- In-process reliability- The device's through flow path eliminates clogging, thereby reducing unnecessary downtime and maintenance. As a result, Quantim contributes to a low cost of ownership and a higher, vastly-improved yield.
- Process immunity- Quantim delivers mass flow measurements with precision, no matter the conditions (temperature, viscosity, pressure, or flow) of the application. Its accuracy and versatility allow users to reduce their spare flow controller inventories.
- Process variable data- Quantim handles various applications that could only have been accomplished with several different controllers previously. The device also provides multi-variable output readings, such as temperature, flow and density.
