Lubrizol Advanced Additive Technology Meets New NMMA FC-W Catalyst Compatible Specification
Cleveland, OH - In anticipation of the upcoming NMMA FC-W Catalyst Compatible specification, The Lubrizol Corporation advises that its Lubrizol 35200 additive is suitable for use in the new FC-W Catalyst Compatible oils. While the NMMA will not begin to grant approval for the new oils until September 1, 2009, Lubrizol's product is available today as an approved NMMA FC-W technology, under the current specification. Lubrizol 35200 delivers superior performance in all key categories driven by API SM or specific JASO MA or NMMA needs.
The Lubrizol 35200 product is also the first 4T engine oil additive to include the HyperZDP System, an advanced antiwear technology designed specifically to protect both the engine and the emission system. Because the HyperZDP system stays in the engine longer than conventional systems, it is able to provide more active ZDP throughout the entire drain. Lubrizol 35200 technology has been proven in engine tests and in thousands of hours of real world, severe-service field testing on both land and sea. It can be used in a number of high performance applications including supercharged, recreational engines for commercial fishing vehicles, all-terrain vehicles, snowmobiles and personal watercraft.
