Longer Wear SprayDry® Nozzle Benefits Detailed In Technical Bulletins

The advantages offered by SB Series and SK Series SprayDry nozzles are explained in literature from Spraying Systems Co. Two 12-page bulletins review the many design features that result in longer wear life, reduced maintenance time and minimal clogging.

The bulletins take an in depth look at the various models available such as basic SK and SB models and SK-MFP and SB-MFP maximum free passage models to significantly reduce clogging. SKH-MFP and SBH-MFP models with an anti-bearding design and a body style that allows tightening by hand further reduce clogging, minimize contamination and reduce maintenance time.

Also addressed in the literature is the flexibility of the nozzles. Information is provided on how interchangeable cap and cores enable users to obtain the exact performance required by their application; the various carbide material choices for longer wear life and how nozzle capacity and pressure can be controlled to achieve a specific drop size and minimize powder waste.
