LECO GCxGC Solutions Ideal For Petrochemical Analysis

Pegasus-with-4D.jpg

St. Joseph, MI - As an alternative method for petrochemical analysis, comprehensive two-dimensional GC (GCxGC) provides a significant increase in the ability to identify and quantify individual compounds in complex matrices. By adding a second orthogonal separation to the existing one-dimensional separation, GCxGC provides an increase in compound detectibility as well as an enhancement in component resolution. LECO's Pegasus® 4D GCxGC-TOFMS and GCxGC-FID/ECD instruments, both powered by Windows®-based ChromaTOF® software, have consistently been used to perform detailed analyses of these fractions. For more information on the use of these GCxGC instruments for petrochemical analysis, visit www.leco.com.
