Lateral Valves for High Pressure Applications

This company's new lateral valves are designed to provide high-reliability for a variety of high pressure applications where control of liquids or gases is required.

The ECD-H 10 valve is a direct acting solenoid model available in 2/2 way shut-off and 3/2 way diverter versions (NC and NO versions are available). The orifice measures 10-mm and has a 0.325-in. threaded-port connection. This model offers a pressure range of vacuum to 200 bar (3,000 psi), with seals and seat options available for most liquids and gases.

The PCD-H is an externally controlled lateral valve with pneumatic actuation well suited for applications such as high-pressure compressors, test benches, and filling stations. It can handle system pressures up to 500 bar (7,500 psi), and features positive shutoff and one moving part for maintenance-free operation. According to the manufacturer, it provides 10 times the cycle life of conventional valves.

Both valves incorporate the manufacturer's coaxial valve technology, which enables fluid flows through the valve with almost no deviation in the fluid path, resulting in high flow rates. The manufacturer also states that the technology eliminates dead spots and flushes the valves clean.
