The company offers a new membrane module– 7200HP– that is tailored for applications where high-pressure nitrogen delivery is required (greater than 300 psi, or 20.7 bar). The unit is ideally suited for oil & gas applications such as offshore rigs, well drilling/completion, etc.

The 7200HP Series on-site nitrogen membrane module offers the highest productivity of any N2 membrane unit on the market. At 350 psi (24 bar), the unit produces from 70 scfm (1.8 Nm3/min) at 99% purity to 178 scfm (4.7 Nm3/min) at 95% purity. The module also has the lowest feed air requirement of any of the commercial membranes available (10-20% advantage).

With the 7200HP, the inconvenience of gas cylinders and liquid nitrogen is eliminated. Nitrogen is generated on site, at any location, continuously and reliably. All the user need supply is a source of compressed air. Compared to cylinders or cryogenic liquid nitrogen delivered via truck, gaseous nitrogen produced by this membrane system is very economical.

The 7200HP employs the patented membrane technology, which filters out oxygen from a stream of compressed, dry air via hundreds of thousands of hollow polymeric fibers, each of which is thinner than a human hair, to produce gaseous nitrogen. The purity of the gaseous nitrogen produced is adjustable from 95 to 99%, and will satisfy the vast majority of nitrogen requirements.
