Founded in 1932, Heany Industries, Inc. is a leader in the design and manufacture of wear-resistant industrial ceramics and engineered coatings. Our extensive product line represents over 60 years of technological and engineering expertise, with new product development occurring almost daily.

We were awarded our first patent back in 1934 when we developed our proprietary ceramic material, Heanium (r). Comprised of high purity aluminum oxide, Heanium is formulated specifically for use in industrial applications where wear resistance, corrosion resistance and electrical insulation are of prime importance. Heanium, noted for its gem hardness, has proven itself in innumerable wire and cable, fiber optics, and textile applications. Each Heanium product has exhibited exceptional wear life as a machine component.Today, we continue to set the standard for industrial durability, and have received a growing list of patents for our innovative ceramic wear solutions.

We have also excelled in our coatings development, and currently provide diverse wear-resistant coatings for aerospace, automotive, computer, fiber optics, textile and wire and cable applications. We guarantee complete compliance with customer specifications, assuring the utmost accuracy and precision, part-to-part uniformity, and the required metallography, including coating thickness, hardness, bonding, and surface requirements. Our automated metallographic department is backed by stringent quality and statistical process control requirements to insure optimum results.
