HallStar Acquires Two Dow Hyperlast Product Lines: DIOPLEX™ And REZILUBE™
Chicago, IL--(Marketwire) - The HallStar Company is pleased to announce that HallStar acquired two product lines from Dow Hyperlast, a global business unit of The Dow Chemical Company (Dow). DIOPLEX™ polymeric plasticizers and REZILUBE™ polymer additives will be available from The HallStar Company effective immediately.

"REZILUBE™ and DIOPLEX™ are natural additions to our specialty ester technology and manufacturing expertise."
DIOPLEX™ polymer additives are high molecular weight, long-chain polyesters used in a wide range of applications, including food wrap, self-adhesive and electrical tape, and industrial hoses and tubing. REZILUBE™ polymer additives for lubricants provide valuable properties for formulators of biodegradable lubricant base stocks.

The acquired products will be integrated into HallStar's existing infrastructure for sales, customer service, and manufacturing. HallStar has a strong customer interface in place to handle orders of the former Dow Hyperlast products. Both HallStar and Dow Hyperlast plan to work together to maintain product quality and seamless service throughout the transition.
Current customers are being contacted to discuss the details of order transition. They will be supported and assisted throughout to ensure there are no disruptions in meeting their supply needs.
