Genesis Partners With Ammobia To Advance Disruptive Ammonia Production Technology

Genesis has been selected by Ammobia Inc., a pioneering startup revolutionising low-cost, sustainable ammonia production technology, as its technical and engineering advisor. This partnership aims to accelerate the deployment of Ammobia's groundbreaking ammonia synthesis process.

Ammobia achieved a significant milestone in 2024 by scaling up its proprietary reactor technology 250X. With Genesis’ expertise and track record in bringing new technologies to market, Ammobia is targeting an ambitious 1000X scaleup by 2026, culminating in a commercial pilot. This next phase will fast-track the adoption of sustainable ammonia in the chemical industry and across sectors such as agriculture, energy and transportation.

Together, we have jointly conducted a comprehensive engineering study to validate Ammobia’s process, showcase its advantages over conventional methods like the Haber-Bosch method, and enable sustainable, scalable clean ammonia production. The study confirmed significantly lower operating pressures and temperatures, leading to reduced greenhouse gas emissions and enhanced economic efficiency.
