General Chemical starts Michigan calcium chloride operations

The General Chemical Group Inc. announced today that it has commenced operations at its recently acquired calcium chloride plant in Manistee, MI. The Manistee plant will supplement General Chemical's existing calcium chloride operations, which are operating at capacity to meet strong demand for calcium chloride deicer products.
