The Perten Instruments group was founded in 1962 with the ambition of making affordable scientific instruments, allowing customers to improve the quality of their products with easyto- use analytical methods. These values remain central to Perten Instruments today.

The company operates in over 100 countries, focusing on four markets, namely Grain, Flour, Food and Feed. Headquartered in Sweden, Perten has offices in the USA, China, Germany and Australia as well as a wide network of experienced and professional distributors globally.

In October 2010 Perten were honoured as Sweden's best optronics company by the Swedish Optical Society. This award was recognition for the company's technical and financial excellence, as well as the successful release of the DA 7300 Online system.

Perten have chosen to integrate CAMO Software's Unscrambler Predictor multivariate data analysis software directly into two of their best selling instruments, the DA7200 and DA7300 NIR analysis systems. They will also add Unscrambler Predictor to their Inframatic grain analyzer this year. This integration allows users to employ models developed in The Unscrambler® software directly within their instrument.
