Fluotest Forte

The Fluotest Forte has been technically enhanced to meet CE safety requirements. This time-tested analytical lamp offers the possibility to examining materials for luminescence effects in the long wave range of the UV at 366nm. Applicable both as a hand lamp or as a tabletop instrument, the unit is extremely versatile and can be used in many fields of application.

Ultraviolet radiation for analytical purposes has been a proven method in research and industry to identify the presence or absence of substances (e.g. optical brighteners) to trace material flaws and to distinguish material differences which cannot be recognized under visible light only.

When materials or substances are exposed to a certain type of filtered UV radiation, some will show a specific fluorescence phenomenon which helps to identify the substance.

The Fluotest analytical lamps have proven to be useful in the daily applications of laboratories, test institutes and many other industrial applications.
