FluoroPure Advantage Trilayer HDPE Drum

FluoroPure Advantage trilayer HDPE drum, the latest addition to the family of high-density polyethylene containers, features a three-layer design for optimum purity in transporting microelectronic grade chemicals to advanced semiconductor labs. For reduced contamination and improved yields for chipmakers, this drum is blowmolded in three separate layers, enabling the use of different material characteristics for each layer of the finished product.

When used with a FluoroPure drum insert, chemical drainability and retrievability is greater than the industry average. The single-piece, blowmolded drum has a deep draw integral chime protecting the drum insert and shipping enclosures during transit. Because the chimes are integrally blowmolded into the drum, they will not disengage from the drum when transporting high-specific gravity chemicals.

In compliance with stringent U. S. Department of Transportation (DOT) and United Nations' (UN) shipping regulations, the this drum is approved for transporting Group II chemicals with a specific gravity of 2.0, and it has a hydrostatic rating of 170 kPa.
