Flexible Polyurea Coating

Iraseal 200 is a 100% solids, sprayable polyurea coating system that provides excellent hydrolytic stability in long-term immersion conditions and excellent resistance to moderately concentrated acid and alkali slurries and aqueous solutions. The product has excellent resiliency, physical strength (tensile strength 3000 psi), and resistance to punctures, abrasion, UV, and weathering in a variety of service conditions.

The high elongation and flexibility of the coating make it suitable for sealing and protecting concrete and other substrates prone to cracking and movement. Capable of elongation to 450%, it is unaffected by flexing, vibration, impact, and thermal cycling that would cause delamination and failure of other types of coatings. Unlike bolt-in preformed or rubber wear liners, Iraseal 200 produces a smooth, seamless surface that will not hamper the flow of materials, is easy to clean, and provides passive resistance to organic marine growth.

Iraseal 200 is a spray-applied, two-component system that bonds effectively to all common substrates and, in many cases, can be applied directly to the substrate without the use of primers or sealers. Mixed as it is sprayed, the product eliminates waste and coats large surfaces quickly and economically. It is a thixotropic formulation that can be used on vertical or overhead surfaces without running or sagging. Quick-curing (sprayed tack time- 6 seconds), it can be built up to any thickness in a single application. The coating can be put in light-duty service aster only two hours cure.
