Finger Transfer Plates
Intralox, Inc. has introduced the Series 400 Two-Material Finger Transfer Plates

Intralox, Inc. has introduced the Series 400 Two-Material Finger Transfer Plates. The low-friction unit is engineered to optimize flow in container handling applications that rely on modular plastic conveyor belts.

The fingers of the plates are composed of a high-strength plastic polymer that is said to resist breakage and warping. The back plates, thermally bonded to the finger units, are composed of a low-friction plastic that allows containers to pass with a minimum of resistance. The back plate is textured to decrease surface contact with containers.

Standard Two-Material FTPs are designed to transfer PET bottles, 202 aluminum cans and other unstable containers with minimal tippage. These products are fastened by plastic shoulder bolts. Bolt covers keep foreign material out of the attachment slots.

Glass Handling Two-Material FTPs are attached with stainless steel oval washers and bolts. With a fastening torque of 70 in.-lbs., this product can be used for glass bottle pasteurizers.
