Boulder, COLO - Emerson Process Management expanded Micro Motion ELITE Coriolis meters with two new options for the largest of the ELITE meters: a nickel-alloy C-22 construction option and a high-pressure option.

The Micro Motion ELITE Coriolis meter, model CMF400, is suitable for 4 to 6 in. (100 to 150mm) line sizes with a maximum flow rate to 20,000 lb/min (545,500 kg/h). The high pressure CMF400P version is now pressure rated to 2973 psi (205 bar), making this Micro Motion ELITE Coriolis meter the ideal instrument for ethylene, natural gas, refining and petrochemical applications where accurate and reliable measurement, under high pressure conditions, is critical.

The new nickel-alloy C-22 construction of the CMF400H version makes it suitable for applications where the process fluid is harsh and incompatible with Stainless Steel, making this new, larger Micro Motion ELITE Coriolis meter ideal for sour crude handling, well product and some corrosive refining applications.

To assist customers with the selection of the correct Coriolis meter for compatibility with different fluids, Micro Motion offers a free, extensive Corrosion Guide, available for download at www.micromotion.com under the 'Documentation' section.

The entire Micro Motion ELITE meter line provides the most accurate Coriolis measurement available. With next generation MVD technology, Micro Motion ELITE delivers ±0.05% mass and volume flow accuracy over a 20:1 turndown, and up to ±0.0002 g/cc density accuracy - a significant improvement over other Coriolis meters and alternative technologies.

For applications where precise measurement is critical, such as charging reactors, injecting additives, and custody transfer of high-value products, the new Micro Motion ELITE is the clear choice for the most accurate and consistent measurement. In addition, with expanded materials and pressure rating for the larger line size, Micro Motion ELITE Coriolis delivers performance not previously attainable in harsh, demanding applications.

Micro Motion is the Coriolis leader in quality, measurement performance, and reliability, and is part of Emerson's broad range of intelligent, digital field devices that power the PlantWeb digital plant architecture. Further cost savings, increased plant availability, and enhanced safety and environmental compliance are achieved when the flowmeters are integrated into the PlantWeb digital plant architecture.
