Dow Increases Prices For Vinyl Acetate Monomer In All Regions

Midland, MI - The Dow Chemical Company and its affiliates ("Dow") announced that it will increase off-list selling prices for Vinyl Acetate Monomer (VAM) in Latin America by U.S.$220 per metric ton; in Asia Pacific by U.S.$100 per metric ton; in Europe by 100 Euros per metric ton; and in the Middle East/Africa by U.S.$125 per metric ton. In the United States and Canada, list and off-list prices will increase by U.S.$0.10 per pound. This increase is effective October 1, 2006, or as otherwise allowed by individual contract terms.
