Dow Announces Price Increase for Glycol Ethers

MIDLAND, Mich. - Effective March 1, 2003, The Dow Chemical Company will increase North American list and off-list selling prices by US$0.05/lb for the following ethylene-based and propylene-based glycol ether products:

• Proglyde* DMM

The price increase is in response to continued rising costs for energy and key raw materials, such as propylene, ethylene, and butanol.
