Dow Announces Price Increase For Epoxy Resins In North America
Midland, MI - Effective November 1, 2005, or as contract terms allow, the Epoxy Products and Intermediates (EP&I) business of The Dow Chemical Company will increase prices for all grades of epoxy resins sold in North America by US$0.05/lb.
Dow said the increase is driven by various factors, including additional increases in feedstock and energy prices, as well as difficulties in transporting key raw materials due to the combined impact of Hurricane Katrina and Hurricane Rita in North America.
Customers interested in learning more about the price increase should contact their local Dow sales representative.
