Dow Announces Price Increase for Diphenyl Oxide (DPO) and DOWTHERM(TM) Heat Transfer Fluids

MIDLAND, Mich. - Effective May 1, 2003, or as contracts allow, The Dow Chemical Company will increase Diphenyl Oxide (DPO) and DOWTHERM(TM) HTTF list and off-list prices for the United States only. The price increase varies by product and will range from 5% to 14%. The increase applies to distributor and direct accounts for the following products:

DOWTHERM HT
DOWTHERM J
DOWTHERM Q
DOWTHERM RP
DOWTHERM T
DOWTHERM MX
DPO
